Our class continues to have new visitors every week!!

Announcements

Bring breakfast food dish THIS Sunday for class to eat immediately after the 9am service! If you need to keep your dish warm or cold, bring it to the main kitchen. Meia will help with the warmer.

Book and Magazine Swap THIS Tuesday (tonight) at 6:30. Bring a snack and items to trade. (Items can include cookbooks, children's books, magazines and books)

THIS Thursday those who participated in Secret Sister and those who plan to participate next year are invited to Reveal Night! 6:30 Activity Room - Bring a Finger Food and reveal gifts

Blood Drive - This Wednesday at our church 3:30 - 8:30

October 10th - Light Bulb Ministry Begins

Prayer Requests

Jennifer - She is talking with two friends whose marriages are close to divorce
Pray for Joe. He was the taxi driver that Charles and Jennifer got acquainted with
New Brunswick. He is not a believer in Jesus Christ. Pray for the seeds that were
planted to grow!

David Hayes - David Marsh - pancreatic cancer - had surgery and will be in hosptial for 8 weeks

Pray for Stephanie Bonner and family - She is currently receiving treatment for cancer at Vanderbilt. Contact Suzanne Turner if you would like to take a meal to this family when they return home.

Kendrick Mount and Ellie Evans have the flu.

Paula will have a hysterectomy on September 28th.

Tricia - The outcome of the custody hearing was not in Tricia's favor. Brandon will have visitation alone without supervision.

Sami Sams - continues to have severe knee pain

Wendy Hale - Father passed away

Stephen's uncle Tommy has cancer of the esphogus

Riland Burt - Will have hip surgery after the first of the year

Our church is growing! Half of those in Sunday School were visitors! Thank you God for such a loving church family!

Ben & Leanne Williams– loss of baby 24wks along
Tommy Blankenship (Stephen’s uncle) – cancer of the esophagus
David’s Dad – pray for spiritual healing and the desire to have a relationship with God
David’s Dad’s coworker (Mark) – Underwent chemo and now it will be at least 2 years until he will be eligible for a heart transplant
Beth Gramling’s Mom(Ramona) – hospice has been called in (cancer)
Paula – Hysterectomy – Sept 28th
Wendy – Mr. Wiley has gone on to be with Jesus; Pray for comfort for her family
Paul Riddle will have to undergo another test to see if he has CF; results were inconclusive
Bruyne and Angel – pray for house to sell
Stephanie Bonner has leukemia; She has gone to Vandy for treatment this week.
Sarah Hollis (Stephanie’s aunt) – breast cancer
Sami Sams – hurt knee again
Blair – will have more shots on her head for psorosis
Tricia and Brantley – custody hearing was on Monday
Joshua Bachuss – Oct 13th – food and environmental allergy testing in Birmingham
Pray for those out of town on vacation.
Pray for God to help you affirm those around you that he has placed in your path.

Jennifer M. – friend, Allison, considering divorce. Pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit as Jennifer speaks.

Amanda’s cousin – expressed that she doesn’t believe in heaven. Pray for Amanda as she speaks with her. Pray for Rilynn and the entire Burt family – Rilynn will have hip surgery early next year; Also, all the Burt children have the flu.
Theresa – searching for a job; unspoken
Wendy – Dad has days to live; Also, her ex-husband is taking her back to court
Paul Riddle to have cystic fibrosis testing on 9/14. Dr doesn’t think he has it, but wants to know for sure.
Charles is witnessing to a friend. Pray for the Holy Spirit to move.
Melody Morgan (teacher at Chestnut Grove) – house burned down a week ago.
Deanne – Her Mom is having some difficulties at her assisted living cottage.
Angel – Her Grandmother is expected to go home to be with Jesus soon. Angel was able to visit her last week.

Doug Bachuss introduced Debbie Heard, director of the Red Cross/Morgan County, to those of us in SS class. She briefed us all on the ongoing needs the Red Cross. Soon, pamphlets will be available in SS detailing different ways you can become involved!
