Week of October 18th

Pray for our upcoming event, Twisted Fate. Pray that those who attend will have an willing heart. Pray for the counselors.

Patrick Rutherford - This is Mabel's husband. Pray for him to trust Jesus.

Nathan Boyette - 3yr old who was diagnosised with kidney cancer. He had surgery on the 12th. So far, he is doing well. His mother's name is Vicki.

Pray for Nicole Burris' mom. She is very ill.

Pray for the family of Mark Collier. David put him on the prayer requests a while back. He was a coworker of David's dad. Mark had cancer and was in need of a heart transplant. He passed away last week. He left behind a wife and two young children.

Pray for David's Dad because he will be going to Twisted Fate and for his salvation.

Darrell Pool - Has cancer; Either had surgery or will have surgery.

  1. Update on three year old Nathan and mother Vikki:

We are anxiously waiting on pathology results. We were told to expect them either today or tomorrow. Depending on what the report says, the oncology doctors will create a specific treatment plan which will include how much and how long we will do chemotherapy. Huntsville has a branch for St. Jude so there is always a chance we can start chemotherapy here and do some in Huntsville as well. We are praying for that to work out somehow.

Nathan has improved so much over the weekend. He is eating crackers and poptarts and drinking juice. His epidural was removed this morning. I think they move us out of ICU hopefully tomorrow.

Mattie is doing great. She loves it here with all the activities available for the patients and families. When we find out what we are facing then we will decide when Mattie will go back to school and come on the weekends.

What a whirlwind of a week. We appreciate All the thoughts, prayers and concerns during this unexpected and trying time.

My plan is for when we move to a regular room and we can have the laptop in there, matt has created a caringbridge site for more frequent updates.

    Vikki
